Desire Grows Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Desire Grows

Rating: 5.0

Desire grows

The valia* turned valmiki* due to education
It was blessing from god to person
Who was illiterate and unaware?
Of any such available literature

Our legendary books speak of volume
And such people and saints
Who were nothing but shown special class
Taught valuable literature and wrote for mass

So education is must
It develops trust in self
Person thinks of second birth on land
With keen eyes to search for friends

Even if we pick nothing
But we develop compassion to bring
Poor to closeness and show
Some kind of desire to grow

It has difference in thinking
Man speaks about peace and not blinking
Life is meant to be o prime importance
And bring valuable change in stance

Education redevelops sleeping cells
And forecasts about is misspell
If used for welfare and happiness
It can bring lots of cheers

Valia.. robber
Valmiki: - name of saint who wrote despite being illiterate
