Determination It Drives Us Poem by Anita Cross

Determination It Drives Us

Feel the breeze on your face.
The wind blowing trough your hair as you increase your speed.
Feet hitting pavement in a hypnotic rythem.
Heart heart rate icreasing with every step.
Push yourself you keep thinking.
Remember the first day you tried this you didnt even go a mile.
Now look at you running full fledged down the side walk for an hour.
You dont care how far youve gone any more as long as your home before dark.
Just keep going, its all in determination.
