Detesting You Poem by K J

Detesting You

It amuses me greatly that you
Still haven’t learnt these
Valuable Lessons
Which are truth!

I honestly really do think
That your mind doesn't wish to
Believe or conceive this:
That I in fact hate you!

You are the only one
That I think upon
To say these words to
Odd isn't it?

Or perhaps not!
Actually yes it is You!
The only one who makes me
Loathe and curse like the Devil himself!

Fevered tongues shall lap at the essence
To which is thy death
Lying in fresh flowers I see you
Ha! They may as well be plastic

Is it wrong to loathe a mortal?
One that perhaps Dear God!
Is of my own blood?
To think I could hate so much!

Venus from the foam would
Have sufficed under
Such circumstances
As birth

You know what?
I can be evil
I hear you laugh
You agree then? Yes?

But don’t confuse
Evil with hate
They are two
Entities on their own

For once my conscious
Is silent as the Grave
Does mean that this is right
These feelings towards you?

It must be
You know why?
‘Cos even with petty things
My conscious speaks

And for once it is dead
Cold silent and undisturbed
Oh happy day that I
Have lost my conscious

Although it is temporary I am sure
Life will only become more
Troublesome later on I believe
But with you I am assured of its silence

You will die dear
I can assure you that
I just hope it is before me
So I can stand there

Stand and overlook
Your final plunge into death
The only death I will find amusing
This I swear to here and now

I hope I do not find
A wry smile
Plastered on that
Decaying face

Amongst the satin
Cushions and flowers
In the box you will call home
For all of eternity and beyond
