Diamonds Cast In Gold Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Diamonds Cast In Gold

Rating: 5.0

I'll remember you when you are gone
Will you remember me while in heaven?
This question tortures me as I wander through the years
And plague my mind just before my eyes close
If you want to know, how I will remember
I'll tattoo the memories into my heart before my mind goes
For the memories are like diamonds cast in gold

I loved the poem on its own, but then read your notes; almost choked up. Such a sweet tribute.
