Did It Really Happen? Was I Really There?
When it happen
Did I understand?
Or was I the only one there
Looking around oh so puzzled.
Smacked and ashes
Two words all I heard.
All I can remember.
Did I fall?
I cried in confusion
and as well knowing
Something was just not right.
Something was out of place.
People looking
People Crying
People Screaming
Me just there in confusion.
I will never know
What happen that day.
Why would they do it
What did we do to cause such pain.
All I know that just something
I lived in and Exprience.

this poem can be related to graveyard soliloquy also...well written...
your referring to the trade center bombing aren't you...i was actually your age when it happened...maybe a year older.....crazy, horrible, stuff...but your poem is very good in that it comes from within. You have a good deal of talent, especially for your age.

I am not sure but I think that this poem is about September 11,2001 and if it is, then great job on capturing the raw emotion of what a child during that time would have been feeling.
