Dim Lights Poem by Stan Rodriguez

Dim Lights

Rating: 4.5

The dim lights hide the faces
of the old and of the young

As drinks were poured
to the right and the left

and eyes that were seeking
a midnight lover came to rest

upon a hopeful mate
to spend the twilight of some morning song

and with a few words spoken
they were gone.
