Disconnected Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Disconnected

Adventures taken to know them.
Done reminisced to remember.
Lived to have experienced.
Are kept enriching memories.
And enables one to remain uplifted.
With this to recognize,
Keeping positive throughout one's life...
Seldom diminishes,
That feeling felt kept maximized.

Disconnected.
From the habits of madness.
Is that drive to adventure.
One keeps to feel inside.

Disconnected.
From limits to live them.
When one adventures,
Done to do with a taking of risks.
Life to live,
Is a gamble of chances.
Impossible to do,
If one just sits.
In a comfort disconnected,
From all that is...
Life offers to receive and get.

Adventures to know them.
Lived to experience.
And blessed to reminisce.
Is a gift from God to get.
Only one who sits,
Allows time to take away.
