Discriminating To Enable It Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Discriminating To Enable It

Open up your heart to unlock it.
From all the dislikes you've got.
Stop and open up your heart to start,
Accepting things that you rather not.

Be God fearing like you claim to be.
Be that 'Christian' you portray.

Discriminating others to enable it.
What does the doing this solve.
With an advocating more division and hate.
What does the doing this solve.

Choosing people to identify by their looks.
What does the doing this solve.
And judging who they are,
As if a covered up book.
What does the doing this solve.

Yet...
Discriminating to enable it is done.
From sunrise.
To sunset.
Discriminating to enable it is done.
With a doing everyday leaving many misfit,
And crazed.
From sunrise.
To sunset to go prolonged.
