Distant Mountains Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Distant Mountains

Distant mountains,
Mysteries hold,
They contain memories,
From days of old.
Many have walked them,
Many have shared,
Beckoning, calling
Waiting right there.
Distant mountains,
Valleys so fine,
Waiting to place their hands in mine,
For its there lie the moments,
I'll never forget,
In those distant mountains,
My memories are set.
