Distractions Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Distractions

Distractions,

They who never understood us,
of our life's, identities,
never gave us a chance,

we're inconsistent to them,
we're motes to their eyes,
noises in the backgrounds,

they who are sufficient,
clinging to money gods,
You're mighty proud,

That's why you're
unnecessary, unearthly,
Yet envy you,

I also despise you,
as distractions,
to my eyes.
