Divine Shloka - For Unnikrishnan S. Menon, Dr Geeta R. Menon And Dr K. Swain Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Divine Shloka - For Unnikrishnan S. Menon, Dr Geeta R. Menon And Dr K. Swain

Rating: 5.0

Poets have lined the streets
Men women and children
Musicians and dancers
Artistes jugglers buskers

The full moon is glowing
And the stars are shining
Menon writing shloka
Such a brilliant fourth line

Geeta weaving third line
Masterful tapestry
Doctor Swain's train of thought
Second line toughly fought

Just one more line to go
The crowd is now screaming
Want to see complete show
A meaningful shloka

The three poets confer
The honour must now go
To poet with pure heart
And such a soulful mind

Now such peaceful silence
From crowd of great respect
Poets are searching sky
'The Word' completes shloka

A sign that you're a beginner poet, is writing about other amateurs.
