When the night was so young
You smiled from afar
I was way too damn shy
To let laughter be there
The night got older
I got bit bolder
Left that cold bar stool
Feeling like a fool
You saw my shaking
Such awakening
In stars brightening
The moon was so full
Your heart welcoming my love
A heart that had to be warmed
Cooling this lonesome evening
Making me so comfortable
I cried that tender night
Tears of lonesome pain
Melting into such joy
Rini, what a great pleasure, and relief, to have you back at Poem Hunter. I was worried about your nonpresence. Great to have you back, Poetess Friend. THX so very much for your positive comments!

Tears melting into joy is both ethereal and phenomenal. A heart welcoming the warmth of love. Nostalgic and lovely!
I love it when poetesses/poets describe some of my poetry as 'ethereal'.Some of my favourite musical artists are that very same.
