Divine Whispers Poem by Subashini Ravichandran

Divine Whispers

The long silky
curtains swinging
merrily along
to the soft tune of
the gusting wind

The dull sound
of the water drops
from last night rain
falling rhythmically
on the metallic shade

The constant murmurs
of the elegant sparrows
concealed behind
the rustic leaves
of the magnificent tree

A few strands of hair
swaying along lightly
to the harmonic melody
played smoothly
by the cool morning breeze

The gentle tones
speaking louder than noises
honestly to the soul
to wait a little longer
and walk a step further

no thunderous cautions
nor miraculous messages
just a soothing whisper
that reaches your ears
as all others fades out
