Divorce Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Divorce

Rating: 5.0

Such is love...
Lovers strewn along a nude beach
Like dead fish...lifeless...gutless...dead.
They were once alive...
Passionate adventurous...full of life
Today they suck each other dry
Salt in a freshly opened wound
They contemplate as their children cry
Remembering their lost childhood
Watching their bed-ridden parents die.
