People say you're a great guy and a reasonable choice
But sometimes I forget to listen to my own voice
What do I see in you that makes me like this
And just what is it that ruins every kiss
How do I tell myself this isn't working at all
And how do I tell you we're about to fall
What can I do to control the pain
That dictates our loses, and our gains
Look to me and steal me the stars
They're about the only thing that would keep me in your arms 
I wish upon every single star that things'll get better
Because I want this to last forever and ever
But when you stare at her with those longing eyes
And then you look to me and tell me lies
Why can't you just love me
I don't know who else I can be
I try to act like her but it's not the same
You still smile at her and bring the rain
You pour rain over everything that I do
And I only make the flooding worse, when I cry for you
