Do I Have To Grow Up? - Poem by Alice Perfect

All you experienced folks
throw your lassos and yokes

I've dodged them for years uncounted

If I grow up, there'll be no Cheetos for sup,
so for me, maturity and age must be surmounted!

Growing up means the wrong things to most people. I have grown, but will never grow up (Report) Reply

Ah, too many here grow backward as they grow older. Just plain ol' growin' older is fine as long as I don't have to eat Cheetos for dinner; -) (Report) Reply
