Do Not Ask Poem by Paul Butters

Do Not Ask

Oh why is the world so full of evil?
Why do people starve,
While others live in luxury?

How come Gaddafi’s mob keep fighting,
When all is lost?
How do folk have cyber-sex,
Or sex on the phone.

All is corruption and hate.
No family values.
Apocolyptic weather.

So how can we turn this round?
Bring Love back to our lives?
Ascend those snow capped mounts.
Reclaim that verdant Eden.

Spread peace around the globe.
Banish racist trolling to the pits of Hell.
Make Heaven here on Earth?

Don’t ask.
