Do you know that I have forgiven you?
And so released myself from the ugly burden
Of bitter heaviness that may always undo
The inner peace in my heart God has given.
This forgiving is for me, it's not for you,
For I have vowed to obey my heavenly Father,
And from this day on, nothing you will ever do
Can affect my resolve to obey Him forever!
If you knew what freedom it brings to enjoy!
This setting yourself free and to just be true-
True to yourself for the Lord deals so kindly
With all the ones who in peace, let His Love flow through!
