Doing The Laundry Again Poem by Minister Peacefulpoet

Doing The Laundry Again

One had left and another returned
Cleaning up messes of others
A sister lost a brother
A mother
Grandmother
She judges no one
Can't live without each other
Sleeps all day
Up all night
She talks to herself until daylight

The fear feels
Someones trying to steel
Another day dies
And the TV telling lies
Pretend its all okay

Clinton will be president
We'll be lucky if nuclear doesn't blow us away
Another brown out
Thunder sounds and the cat hides out
She thought she was afraid
What's this all about
Its just so hot out

Feed the poor and open the door
Mop the floor
Tell him to mow that grass
Getting tall
Days about over
The sun won't last
He doesn't get enough sleep
I guess I'll go to bed now
I love him
He knows
And to work he goes

It's just a thing
Called life
