Dolly Parton does sing about
A coat her Momma made for her.
Though made with rags, this coat no doubt
Was made with Momma's love for sure.
This 'Coat of Many Colors' be
Worn by young Dolly in belief
That a special person was she.
Those who tried give her pain and grief,
In her heart she forgave all those
Who'd never worn a coat so fine,
Would only wear their store bought clothes
Not made with any love design.
