Don'T Feed The Junkies Poem by Brandon Lucero

Don'T Feed The Junkies

Memories lost
senses regained
stomach aches
stubborn pains
icy sweat every day
lazy dealers get in the way

All alone in my killing room
ignoring the impending doom
don't feed the junkies
cause we might puke

Cop the dope
put it down
finished running
all over town

What'd I steal?
where did I sleep last night?
OD'ing was quite a fright

When do I eat?
oh yeah...
don't feed the junkies
cause we might puke
all over your nice new shoes

Am I an addict?
NO!
just a fluke

Powerful words because you've been there..and back.
