Don't Kill Your Capitalist Or Your Communist Friend Poem by Hebert Logerie

Please don't kill your capitalist or your communist friend
They are very similar in corruption: one uses his right hand
And the other uses his left hand. Forget about philosophies
They eat at the same table and they both zombify
The poor mass. Forget about ideologies and policies
They collude, corrupt, contaminate and mystify
Everybody is fighting for power and money
And hypnotize the people who cannot see
With their eyes wide open. The mass is blinded
By ignorance and paralyzed by inaction
Don't kill the messenger who's well educated
Who is giving you his honest opinion
Do what you have to do? Ignore the bad politicians
The sleazy hypocrites who are like magicians
They know how, why and when to fake it
If they tell you to jump or run, please do not
They inhale; exhale and they don't smoke pot
They lie like frying fish. This is only the pit
Next time, please do NOT vote for them
Walk away from them and let them drown in the dam.
