D-on't let the load burn you out,
A-lthough it's so hard to deal with;
I-t's better to wait for the sunshine,
S-o the long night will
Y-ield.

R-emain firm, strong and steadfast
O-n twenty-fifth day November;
B-e brave to weather the storm
R-aging in the hill, land, and river.
E-ven if the cross is too heavy,
G-od will help, no reason to doubt;
A-llow His hands to carry you,
D-on't let the load burn you
O-ut.
