Donate Me A Pinch Of Your Love. (2) Poem by Amitava Sur

Donate Me A Pinch Of Your Love. (2)

Come on my dear – it’s enough and enough
Now please hold my two hands,
I’m falling so steep and fast down toward that hell
I’m drowning, you hold me and pick me out from dark.

I can see the devils are around me
They are hissing with their long tongues
And frightening me.
I am so frightened now –
Like a baby without his mom.

The ship has broken
And is sinking amidst the sea,
Clasping the broken mast there
Somehow I’m floating still.

Still I love
With my broken heart
I cried aloud for my love.

Love is all – you know it all
I live only for love.

Give me your hand
To this drowning man,
Let me kiss my longing love
To have a touch of Heaven.

That will be like a drop of nectar
Before I get fully drowned.

I’m ready to die with a big smile
Just donate me a pinch of your love.

A very sad song of your loss, hitting to the depths of your being, frightening and breaking your heart over and over. You are touching my heart with your tears, Amitava, there is nothing to be done except to experience every feeling until you can see again. Very intense and deep poem, taking me with you into your sadness. RoseAnn

Grief is probably one of the worst experiences we have to endure, and most of us will experience it during the course of our lives. But we have to live through it and let it pass in its own good time. A sad and heartfelt write Amitava.
