Donate your blood and save a life,
Save a child, parent, husband or wife,
Give your love to humanity, give others hope,
Give the dying children and adults strands of your rope,

Help them pull through the dark shades of death,
Help them rise up to take another breath,
Help them, help the strangers that you don't know,
For it is through your donation humanity's kindness will show,

Even the tears of a mother cannot save her child but your blood can,
So, let your blood give them a helping hand,
When you give in to love and sign a blood donor form,
You give a lease of life for someone to fight through deaths storm,

The most honest prayers can be heard from the hospital walls,
People on the brink of death hoping god hears their desperate calls,
And in a way, your donation answers some of their prayers,
Giving them the gift of living for many more beautiful years,

Droplets of your blood will create an ocean of happiness for some,
Your blood gives them a chance so tomorrow can come,
You don't need a medical degree to save a soul,
Just a fair degree of humanity is enough to make many lives whole.
