Done To Do Done Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Done To Do Done

A damage done.
Done to do.
To excuse a doing,
As if a forgiveness to ask...
Can effectively undo,
Feelings and emotions to have.
With memories to experience,
Being victimized and picked...
Purposely by someone,
Conscious.
To witness and see,
Had eyes opened wide.
Doing a done to do,
Laughing hysterically.
And...
Publicly!

Tell me this...
Critics and members,
Of the jury.
And one sitting comfortably,
Ready and prepared to judge.

What other evidence,
Are you awaiting for to seek?
More than the wounds,
Yet to heal but revealed.
You still believe,
Had been self-inflicted!
