Don't Dream About Me, Just Touch Me Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Don't Dream About Me, Just Touch Me

Don't dream about me,
don't shape me into mist or memory.
Let your hands find my edges,
The rise of bone, the warmth of skin.

Forget the art of longing,
the soft ache of distance.
Iam here, within reach,
a reality louder than fantasy.

Hold me without questions,
without the weight of words.
Your touch,
it is enough.
