Don't Forget Past

Don't forget past
Friday,4th June 2021

Don't forget past
and last
with the bitterness
consider, it was a bitter phase

once upon a time
the poets were give rough time treatment
who presented actual picture
but were sent to fallows for sure

hands shake
when ink applies brake
words seem bitter cake
but the existence is at stake

verses don't come out easily
words don't flow readily
I lift the pen and think
what is wrong with the pen and ink!

I remember my ancestors
who died for the honour
raised the slogan banner
but did not quieten there

I shall sing and raise banner
for happiness all over
let people enjoy freedom and liberty
take the holy dip and enjoy the poetry

poetry is my soul
the holy reason to give a call
and not to fall for any temptation
for protecting all humans
