Don't Want To Take Birth Again Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Don't Want To Take Birth Again

Seasons will bring sweet fragrances to me
When from this world of chaos I will be free

I will be laid inside a whole cut fresh in the earth
I will sleep in peace without a wish to take another birth

I will remember my days of innocence and careless time
Playing with friends and returning home with dust and grime

The days of sitting idle in grandpa's lap and smiling
Watching the rain failing and flowers closing without caring

Seasons will bring me fragrances of my mother's hair
I will smile in my sleep remembering her innocent stare

Forever in the dark hole I will miss her sweet kiss
That gave to my small heart much love, care and peace

I will not rise again to become young and old
Even if my life will offer me power and tons of gold
