Doors Are Being Closed Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Doors Are Being Closed

Ending every night in a pleasurable space of time,
listening to others sing karaoke with intense and
decent voices, holding me captive until the music
stops and the night is ending.

Wanting to continue without stopping, but I have
to leave because the doors are being closed and I
have to get out before I'm locked inside.

A serious thought of staying and sleeping in a
corner, but I don't.
