Dr Ibrahim Memon-My schoolmate

Before I praise him outright
let me delight
my friends and readers
what a person has in life to offer!

No man on earth can be as honest as he is
capable, learned surgeon and practitioner
he has remained noble and an ordinary man
giving selfless service to the needy and poor people

Not because he was close and as a school friend
he has remained pious and simple up to this end
he has seen poverty from very close quarter
and has come up on top of the ladder

we were in touch but getting lost frequently
as was mainly in gulf countries serving the people humanly
he has shown the world how a doctor must come up with the human causes
and pose for a while

not dwell about his family background and poverty
he is a fine example for the cause of humanity
as a bright student and staunch religious believer
he is a live example and I always remember

let an almighty give him long years
and strength to offer
the services for the poor
and serve the noble cause here
