Dragonfly - Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

The transitional dragonfly
Flies inside of me
Little dragonfly
So small and frail
My eternal spirit
my extra pair of wings
With my tears I flood the earth
I try not to despair
I try not to be scared
The waters shall bring rebirth
Little dragonfly
So young and naive
Without wings I cannot fly
I try not to hasten
Just be patient
For I shall learn, by and by
Little dragonfly
So timid and meek
No confidence do I possess
But I am not weak
And so I will continue to seek
Crawling around the swamps, the ponds,
And the marshes inside of
The only time the dragonfly flies
In open air
The only way the dragonfly swims
In open waters
When I allow myself to breathe through
My lines
With a blank screen in front of
My nose
A dragonfly keeps on
Flying inside of
