when it comes to drama, sometimes we need to swallow our pride
sometimes you have to let go of things, you need to let it slide
however it is not as easy as it seems
it is hard when your friends tell you to choose sides, choose teams

you dont want to lose one or the other, so you walk away
they end up getting mad, saying that you betrayed
what do you do when gossip about you is all over the school?
you can never stay calm when people are cruel

your self esteem is crushed before your eyes
by all of their stupid exaggerated lies
and yet you dont want to start a fight
so you hold in your anger, night after night

it accumulates to the point where you will break
all of the rumors, slithering around your mind like a snake
as hard as it is, just ignore and keep your head high
let them know that they dont get to you, they dont make you cry
