Dreams Are Brief Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Dreams Are Brief

They arrive without warning,
soft as mist,
flickering between what was
and what could be.

Time bends inside them,
a moment stretching forever,
then vanishing before you can hold it.

Voices fade, faces dissolve,
the sky shifts from gold to nothing.
You wake, reaching for echoes
already gone.
