Dreams Hanging Onto Reality

Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Watch out, here comes instant challenges and daring of a
bison, bulls and bucking horses as they perform in a rodeo
in back of Outlaws, the best bucking bar in the west.

A perfect place for this rebel poet, a lively time always
being had even through trials and tribulations of this
earthly life.

Dreams hanging onto reality, making sure they're never lost
along the way, keeping to our western heritage, never giving
up our cowboy and cowgirl pride for that's how we ride in
this mountainous desert.
