Dreams Need A Hand (Argonelle) Poem by Leslie Alexis

Dreams Need A Hand (Argonelle)

Why dream?
It is the foundation,
The first block set upon the ground
And the first ounce to every pound.
It is the foundation.

Why live?
Because dreams need a hand;
It raises dreams, sets them in place.
It gives a drink along the race.
Because dreams need a hand.
