Drifting Effortlessly Within The Stream - Poem by Ellenor Rose
Why do I feel like this?
A sudden onset of an empty mind.
Circling my own minds thoughts over and over again,
to only wind up where I have always begun.
A quiet and peaceful outershell, drifting effortlessly within the stream.
Little did other eyes know,
This outershell has its own right to take hold of me.
A feeling of being held between two unyielding hindrances,
Running too and forth and only to only be bounced back.
Everything I have always ached and craved,
Is everything I have always lacked.
