Drifting To You
If i could drift with the leaves,
transported through time.
Right back to those days,
when life felt just fine.
I could see you again,
when we would be young,
to walk the welsh mountains,
beneath the warm sun.
If i could tell you how precious a life really is,
to spend with our loved ones,
to love and to give.
I could thank you for being,
the best of the best,
I think of you always,
now your laid to rest.
My dreams bring you closer,
my thoughts keep you near.
My lifetime of sunshine,
guiding me without fear.
