Drinking Alone Poem by Paul Warren

Drinking Alone

Rating: 5.0

I sit alone
And swirl my glass
One sip after another
As it warms my soul
I swirl it again
And the ice clinks
My companion makes no sound
It just clinks as I swirl it around.

Nice portrayal of a drinking session all alone. I am much inspired. I would like to repeat it myself this evening. Thanks Paul.
