Drinks Are Downed For Myriad Reasons - Poem by Terence George Craddock (afterglows echoes of starlight)
Hazel Joy Pangilinan posted
with an Instagram Photo
"Its morning, and im getting pissed already. Wow? ? ? ? ? "
the comment resonates
with youth memories
need open appeal
of an early
drink drank in desperate need
in friend recreational enjoyment
drinks are downed for myriad reasons...
sometimes the body
needs to escape the mind
drinking worries away
the need to escape words
when you come up for air
intelligence youth beauty
be exempt from pain
will always rise
you have that in spades...
take care there
I will have a drink here
to your health...
late afternoon here
and a lot of work
