Driving down the road in my big red cadillac. Poem by Lance Carthen

Driving down the road in my big red cadillac.

Driving down the road in my big red cadillac.
Got your address in my hand, three corpses in the back.
I met you online.
Now I cant get you off my mind.
Driving down your road in my big red cadillac.

I hope that you like flowers, candy and cyanide too.
Im glad I finally convinced you that Im really not koo koo.
I hope that when you see me, a smile lights your face.
Please keep that smile going when I give your brain a taste.

Driving down the road in my big red cadillac.
Im getting kind of nervous even thought its my twelth time.
I'll shower you kisses and shotgun blasts too.
The online dating service has brought my love to you.

I'll take you for a little ride down an old dirt road.
Tell you that were seeing a movie and drive a little slow.
As passion fills the air, I'll lean to you for a kiss.
As you place you hand in mine, I'll happily slash you wrist.

Driving down the road in my big red cadillac.
I pull into your driveway and bring my caddy to a stop.
I'll be darn, there you are standing at your door.
With that beautiful big smile, I saw on my computer.
