You seem to be drunk
Thinking of the good time
Ahead. Thinking of the pure
Love that has risen up to
Your head. You seem to be
Drunk thinking of him to be
Your paramour. You walk in
A dizzy manner on the dance
Floor. You are smiling to self
Losing control over heart and
Mind. You hop chair to chair
But to sit a place you can't find.
It is the new year party and you
Are drunk to the full. Being a
Novice in the art of partying
You make yourself a fool. Your
Glass is not empty and you have
Taken too many shots. In place
Of colored lights you look at
Too many dashes and dots.
Door is closed now and you
Have to sleep in a chair. Wake
Up with a hangover for in a new
Dawn wishes are to be shared.
