Dry Tears In My Eyes Poem by Hebert Logerie

Dry Tears In My Eyes

Please, don't be too quick
To proclaim that I am weak
Because I have dry tears in my eyes
The weak cries lightly, the strong cries
Much more in private, in the shower
A wise man fears the danger of power
Too much power, in the hands of a coward
Can be eerily terrible and seen as an award.

Please, don't be too aggressive
With me, because I am not passive
At all, however, I am cleverly patient
I love to examine the experiment
To take my sweet time to dream and to think
About the appropriate color of the ink
That I shall use to paint the shadow
Of a brother, who'll be absent tomorrow.
