Dying In Haste Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dying In Haste

Rating: 5.0

The slant of light is coming
Through the bars of this cage
Would remind me of the sweet life
That I once led wirh you
But you left and made life sour
Now, the salt of my tears is
The only drink I can have
And the thirst cannot be quenched
As the dying is in haste

Such a very very powerful poem about the feeling of imprisonment one feels after a relationship break-up. Absolutely outstanding, LeeAnn!
