Each One A Galaxy (Final Version)

sometimes words leave bruises;
sometimes they leave gaping wounds
crossing the canyon of even one
could take light years of black and blue
sometimes words are butterfly pinned
before the chloroform sets in
and leave a scar who could defend
if it were visible to men.
and kill a star or two. in you.
