Early Evening Moments (Gogyoshi) Poem by Gert Strydom

Early Evening Moments (Gogyoshi)

while the avocado-tree hits on the roof
with the August-winds blowing wild,
I hear the house creaking while it cools down
were at the television you sleep against me.
