Early Works - Candle Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Candle

The lonely candle sits in the window
like the guiding light of a lighthouse beacon.
A sentinel with a warming glow
whose fingers reach into the darkness
holding out hope for ware faring souls,
which in the darkness have lost their way.
