Easter Parade Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Easter Parade

Easter came in with the dawning
Holy and wondrous morning.
My eyes hadn't seen such beauty before
As this picture of country and shore.
The Cross of Jesus captured the scene
Upon the hill of verdant green.
Oh such joy God was giving
This is the dream we are living.
'Morning by Grieg' the orchestras play
as the silver moon ends one more
Easter Day.
