I wish you would eavesdrop through a gap in the fence
I wish you had known everything
I never told you
Maybe that's why I didn't try too hard
to hide it

I wish you cared enough to tell me I was wrong
when you heard me pour out the mess in my head

I found out
everything about you
except the things that mattered

and when I threw out
everything about you
it wouldn't have been hard
for you to eavesdrop,
which just shows me
how much you didn't want to try.
