Echoed Long Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Echoed Long

Echoed long

I asked her to relate
But she refused to state
Am I so unfortunate?
She said no, no, it is only fate

Are you tired?
She openly posed
I said no but you are heavenly asset
My future and my fate

You are crazy
I was told easily
I really liked her saying
Somewhat she was paying

She is fresh flower
Just emerged after rainy shower
No one can compare with her beauty
She looks like angel or deity

Promise me if I give
And you misbelieve
"No, it shall never happen"
I answered all of sudden

Take me for granted
I heard her whisper as it was wanted
"I am yours" I was sinking fast
The same word echoed and lasted long
